Additional Information

Benefits

The United States Life Insurance Company usually pays the Living Benefit Option in one or two months after the receipt of the Claim Form.

This is the case for the 98% of the claims.

Delays Can Happen:

  • Delay in getting the Medical records
  • Insufficient evidence of 12-month life expectancy
  • Contestability: If the claimant has been insured for less than 2 years, the Insurance Company will investigate the accuracy of the application’s statements. This procedure will take two or three months, depending in how diligently the Doctor provides the Medical Records to the Insurance Company.
