The Club dream of sponsoring more activities has become reality. The Club’s FIRST EVER softball league is starting July 8th. Can you feel the excitement in the air?
Deadline: All registration materials must be completed and returned to the Club Store no later than June 30th. That’s right, June 30th! The July Alive! stated June 15th, but it’s been extended just a tad longer for anyone who wants to join. Space is limited so contact the Sports Dude – Robert Larios ASAP.
What's the Benefits?
The Club agrees to pay the league and umpire fees for all teams whose players have been accepted by the Club.
The Club will sponsor an end-of-the-year gathering and tournament keepsakes.
Official jerseys will be provided by the Club. They should be worn during each game.
The Club plans to provide updated league standings on its Website, in Alive!, or both. Details are being worked out at press time.
Who Can Join?
Managers of teams with at least nine players are welcome to register. At this time, the Club is not registering individual players. So if you want to join the league, you’ll need to form the team yourself and pick an official manager.
Please note: Time and space are extremely limited for the 2009 inaugural season of the Club Softball League. If we fill up, we will keep your name for next summer’s league.
All new players must be Club Members and agree to all regular Club Membership rules and regulations. Players who are not Club Members must join to play in the Club Softball League.
All new players must be City employees.
In some instances, teams established in prior years may carry a small number of non-City Employees. This is a co-ed league: for both men and women.
